Last June, ICANN lawyer Joe Sims dismissed the possibility of
congressional action on this bill, saying it was merely "one of hundreds
of bills introduced in every Congress for any number of reasons." Good
political analysis in general, perhaps, but not when dealing with a Way to
Protect the Children. A subcommittee vote is scheduled for Wednesday.
